Joshua Stanton is a Founding Editor Emeritus of the Journal of Inter-Religious Studies and State of Formation. He serves as Rabbi of East End Temple in Manhattan and a Senior Fellow of CLAL - The National Jewish Center for Learning and Leadership. He contributed most of his articles for State of Formation as a rabbinical student, but has returned to it more recently as a rabbi, who continues to explore and learn about questions of identity and spiritual formation.
