The Death Penalty and Innocence

Every day I read The New York Times. Feverishly I flip through the pages, catching up on “all the news that’s fit to print.” Reading the news and learning about current events helps me more deeply understand my faith. With this in mind, in Section A of Monday’s (March 19) Times there are two stories about the death penalty, but the same theme emerges in both: are we killing the innocent?
